Kolo
From REMAP
Kolo is an open source cross platform framework supporting the creation of physically interactive media-rich environments. Kolo seeks to address challenges faced by both novice authors and experienced developers by simplifying the process of creating networks of distributed input/output devices allowing them to be accessed in a consistent name space with a simple API, regardless of their location. Such networks can then be used as a platform for experimentation and for application development thereby supporting new performances, installations, and themed entertainment experiences. Kolo strives to support tools currently used by artists and can be used via a java API, a c++ library, a director plug in, max objects, and the Kolo specific scripting language Nebesko.
